Advertising policy
Last updated 23 September 2026.
What we won't accept
- Illegal goods and services.
- Prohibited goods regardless of legality: tobacco, vaping, gambling, adult content, surveillance tools, weaponised add-ons.
- Explicit sexual content.
- Hate speech and attacks on a protected class.
- Dangerous products that pose immediate physical harm (explosives, unlabelled chemicals, recalled goods).
- Medical or health claims that require evidence (cures, "doctor-recommended", weight-loss guarantees).
- Misleading financial claims: get-rich schemes, guaranteed investment returns, unlicensed financial products.
- Spam: an advert that simply copies another live advert on YGT or is a low-effort keyword-stuffed creative.
Anything else passes by default. The check is deliberately tolerant because false positives hurt more than false negatives โ borderline adverts can be reported via the "Report this advert" link on the search-results slot.
What you must do
- Be truthful, current, and substantiated.
- Identify your business.
- Own every image, logo, and word you upload.
- Send clicks to an HTTPS destination you control and are authorised to use.
- Make the creative readable on desktop and mobile with an accurate CTA.
- Comply with Barbados law, the card-network rules, and the Stripe prohibited list.
How review works
Every new advert and every material revision is screened at submission. The result is visible to you immediately. If the advert passes, you can pay and it goes live. Manual review happens only when:
- A user clicks "Report this advert" on the search-results slot.
- The operator becomes aware of a possible breach.
The operator can stop and refund any advert at any time. There is no SLA and no customer-facing email queue โ the operator reviews out of band and acts when they act.
What we do when something goes wrong
We may suspend or remove the advert. Repeated breaches may result in the advertiser account being suspended. A full refund is issued when the operator stops the advert โ the merchant does not need to ask for it.
